The Consultation Call

In this 15minute phone call Dr Hunt will be able to explain the procedure in more detail as well s answer any questions you may have. If you are happy to do so we can also book you In for a face to face consultation and possible treatment date.

In this appointment Dr Hunt will be able to assess your face and any concerns you may have, he can also answer any further questions you may have answered together you can come up with a treatment plan.

The Appointment

Once you're booked in you'll need to arrive at our clinic 10 minutes early to sign in. We'll then talk through the treatment procedure and get started.

You'll probably be with us for a total of 20-30 minutes and then you'll be free to go about your day as normal.

The Results

You're likely to notice an immediate lift to the skin on your jawline and a tightening of the cheeks for a more youthful appearance.

Then over the course of the next 3 months and for as long as 19 months, the elasticity of your skin in those regions will improve thanks to the natural stimulation of your bodies own collagen production.

The Aftercare

As with most cosmetic skin treatments, in order to reduce the chances of infection, we recommend foregoing the application of any products to the area (in this case face) for the 24 hours following. This includes a skincare routine and SPF etc.

We'd also recommend avoiding things that can raise your blood pressure too in order to reduce the risk of bruising/swelling - such as saunas, steam rooms and vigorous exercise.

Finally it is best to avoid alcohol or smoking again, to prevent bruising or swelling.

All aftercare advice will be discussed with you on the day and if you have any further questions after this Dr hunt will be on hand to answer them for you.

Is the HArmonyCa procedure painful?

The short answer is no, the procedure is carried out in a way that reduces pain and at most is slightly uncomfortable. If pain is a concern for you please discuss this with Dr Hunt prior to your treatment and topical anaesthetic can be applied.

How long will it take?

The procedure itself will take around 15/20 minutes, please allow time for paperwork and any questions you may have on the day.

Can I use HArmonyCa with other treatments?

Yes, as with all aesthetic treatments they work best when used in combination with other treatments to give the most natural long lasting results. Please discuss this with Dr Hunt in your consultation to get further information of what is advisable for you.

Who could benefit from HArmonyCa?

HArmonyCa is a great treatment for anyone looking to improve skin quality and boost collagen. It usually not necessary for anyone under the age of 35.

How long do the effects last?

The active ingredient in HArmonyCa (Calcium hydroxyapatite) will continue to give effects for up to 24 months post treatment.

What HArmonyCa contain?

HArmonyCa is a hybrid injectable, made up of the active ingredient Calcium hydroxyapatite (a naturally occurring compound found in the body) and the carrier agent of Hyaluronic acid (used in dermal fillers).

What happens if something goes wrong?

All risks will be discussed with you in detail in your consultation and Dr Hunt will be able to advise on how best to deal with anything. The most common issues post treatment are bruising and swelling, other more rare risks are all treatable and Dr Hunt will be happy to speak with you about any concerns you may have.
